Effective immediately and until further notice, the Department of Water Supply (DWS) has downgraded the Water Restriction Notice to a Water Conservation Notice for affected South Kohala customers. A Water Conservation Notice requests affected customers reduce water use by at least 10 percent.
Recent rains have filled the DWS’ Waikoloa Reservoirs to a satisfactory level to allow the downgrade.
